How To Lose Belly Fat
Want to lose belly fat but don't know how? Having a big pot belly is not the most attractive asset a man or woman would want. In fact, it is the problem of many men and women of all ages, young and old. People these days lead busy lives and with the enticement of fast foods, many are gaining the extra unwanted pounds. The truth is, by making changes to your diet and keeping a simple exercise plan, you can easily lose belly fat and stay that way! Losing belly fat is not exactly the same as losing weight. Many think that by starving themselves of food, they will be able to lose that unwanted bulge. If you exercise hard but don't eat well enough, you will end up feeling extremely hungry and losing a lot of energy. But you will not lose much weight. Some people even cut down on their daily food intake but do no physical exercise. Neither method will work in your quest to lose belly fat. Here are some facts. Your body adjusts itself readily to changes in your food intake. If you do not eat enough, your metabolism will drop to make up for the loss. Only a little fat will be burned, compared to a much higher burn rate when you exercise and diet. A really effective method to lose that fat around your stomach is to cut back on food, but regularly exercise at the same time. Eat smaller portions and in moderation. You can still enjoy eating your favorite foods, but in smaller quantities. This conditions your body to burn fat better and faster, but without all the nasty repercussions that come with severe fasting. 30 minutes of working out the belly daily is quite sufficient to help burn excess belly fat away. If you want to lose it faster, go beyond this. But this is normally effective enough to see some positive results. You may be wondering why it is more difficult for you to lose belly fat than to lose weight generally. Unlike other parts of your body, the stomach has a natural padding, and this makes it harder to lose fat there. While sit ups are a great way to lose belly fat, you need to go through the entire workout without stopping unnecessarily. This is to maximize the fat burning rate. Twists are also excellent work-outs to get rid of belly fat. How do you do it? Stand upright with your legs spread apart. Stretch your arms to the sides and twist the upper half of your body from side to side. Toe touches are also effective for working out your tummy. The last tip here is to make sure you stick to your diet and exercise plan. It takes time to see results. And remember not to take breaks in between, as this will thwart your efforts to lose belly fat fast and successfully!
