Fat Loss Foods

Other than following diet programs, there are some fat loss foods that should be considered for inclusion into any program you intend to go on. These are foods that have been proven to help dieters lose weight effectively.

These fat loss foods are categorized into 3 different types. They are mainly protein foods, high volume - low calorie foods and warm foods. We will explain more as we go along.

These foods help you check your hunger and appetite so that you will not eat more than you should. They will also help improve the amount of calories expended and boost your metabolism. In other words going on diet will be easier.

Protein Foods

This class of fat loss foods is highly important. Protein foods are generally foods that are rich in protein, such as eggs, dairy, nuts, low-fat cheese, fish and chicken. They are low in fat content but give you all the amino acids needed for muscle building.

Warm Foods

Examples of warm foods are coffee, tea, soups and stews, which are excellent for digestion. They are digested within 2 to 3 hours, so that the proteins are fully broken down into amino acids. Consuming warm liquids makes you feel full and stops you from craving for more food.

High Volume - Low Calorie Foods

These are fat loss foods that come in high volumes but contain few calories. Vegetables and fruits are great examples. Even vegetable soups, rice crackers and oatmeal fall into this category. They tend to make you full and meet your calorie needs better than other foods such as rice, noodles and pasta.

These fat loss foods are ideal for controlling your appetite and satisfying your hunger so that you will not crave for more.

If you find them too bland, you can always add spices and flavorings. But be careful with what you add. The calorie count must not exceed your required daily intake.

It does not matter what diet program you go on. All these fat loss foods are perfect complements.
